Two pedestrians were beaten with a pistol, then robbed at the intersection of Warner Street and West Sacramento Avenue at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Chico Police Department responded to the call where the two victims, aged 22 and 23, reported that three adult black males came up behind them after exiting a silver, four-door sedan. A fourth suspect stayed in the vehicle, according to a Chico Police Department press release.

One of the suspects brandished a pistol while demanding cash and both victims had visible injuries from the incident.

The suspects were last seen leaving the area in the silver sedan.

Chico State has sent a Timely Warning Crime Bulletin with tips to help reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crimes like this. Anyone with information that can assist the investigation can call Chico Police Department at (530)-897-4911.
