6:39 a.m.: Subject disturbance at IHOP on Business Ln. “Male subject inside acting suspiciously. Keeps hiding from reporting party then jumps out or follows her around. Reporting party has shut herself in the office, there is also a cook in the kitchen. Subject last seen in the back dining room area, he was standing up with his hands down his pants. Subject cannot be seen in the surveillance cameras. Reporting party will be able to see if he leaves. Reporting party’s boss just arrived. Boss acted with suspect. Subject now leaving on bike towards Walmart.”
2:18 p.m.: Suspicious subject outside Save Mart on W East Ave. “Subject with Marijuana initiative petition out front of business being overly aggressive with customers. Receiving several customer complaints. Request subject be told to leave property. Contacted the manager of the business, manager requested contact.”
10:35 p.m.: Negligent discharge of firearm on Rancheria Dr. “Female in her underwear running in the middle of the road. Reporting party thinks she was chasing a bicyclist. Five shots seen, shooting in the air. Suspect left towards Mechoopda with another male. Male shooting a gun into the air. Reporting party just heard 6-7 shots. Gun was a handgun. Heard female screaming, then heard shots fired. Callers from Chico State dorms reporting shots heard by Tony’s Liquor. Reporting party from Tony’s Liquor, female is now at Tony’s Liquor. She and male were fighting, female was still in her underwear. Reporting party has visual of 7 black male adults and white female adult in sports bra. All are running towards train tracks.”
University Police:
9:24 a.m.: Suspicious subject in the bookstore. “Currently in the text book area, white male adult 20’s. Reporting party advised the caught same subject stealing books on Saturday. Making contact in southwest corner. No contacts, non-student. File on shoplift.”
2:59 p.m.: Grand theft in Performing Arts Center. “Taken today from unlocked office. Reporting party stepped away from office, unknown subject took reporting party’s department issued, white 13 inch Mac Book.”
