Alejandro Mejia Mejia, Former Editor-in-Chief

Alejandro Mejia Mejia was born in Redding, California where he lived his entire life until he went to school at California State University, Chico [Chico State]. He is a transfer student from Shasta College where he obtained two A.A. University Studies degrees in Language Arts and Social Studies. In the Fall 2023 semester, he was the Editor-in-Chief for The Orion. He was also a sports reporter and sports editor for the news organization. He majored in Journalism within the News option and minored in Marketing. He likes watching Oklahoma City Thunder and Boston Red Sox games in his spare time.

On Oct. 10, Naoki Easterday hits his ball back onto the fairway after his first shot landing in the rough. Easterday finished the tournament 3 under-par at the Par 72 course.

At hole 18 at the Wildcat Classic, sophomore Mark Noonan hits his shot closer to the greens from the fairway with an iron. Noonan, finished in fourth place at the Wildcat Classic.

At the Peach Tree Golf and Country Club in Marysville, sophomore Dakota Ochoa sinks his putt for the birdie at hole six.

After the top on the second inning being completed, a group of Wildcat baseball players show their support to the fielders on getting out of the inning.

On the pitchers mound, junior Rlyan Tinsley in pitching motion thorwing to the batter he faced. In the 18-4 win, Tinsley pitched a total of six innings, allowing six hits, four runs and having two strikeouts.
