Dillman hopes to give students a voice in the city of Chico, strengthen the university’s relationship with the city and make sure students stay informed on issues that affect them within the city. Chico has become home to many students, including herself, she said, and she thinks that it is necessary that students get their opinions heard. Dillman also thinks it is important for the city to see the benefits that students give to the city economically and through volunteering and community involvement. If elected, Dillman says she will be the voice of the students that the city needs to hear and will do everything it takes to make sure students know what is going on and how it will affect them.
