A quick and delicious chili dog

Hot dogs topped with chili and cheddar cheese are worth enjoying. They’re perfect for those barbecue summer days that are ahead of us. And the best part? They do not take a lot of time to make.

Items needed:

  1. Hot dog buns
  2. Wieners
  3. Can of chili
  4. Bag of shredded cheese
  5. Butter
  6. Olive oil

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat for three to four minutes.
  2. Place the dogs in the skillet and cook for five minutes, turning them a few times. You can also grill them instead.
  3. Heat chili as directed on the can.
  4. Add butter to the cut sides of the bun and, in a sauté pan, toast them over medium-low heat until golden brown.
  5. Fill the buns with the dogs; top with chili, cheese and onions (optional).
