Jolie Asuncion, Opinion/Multimedia Editor

Jolie Asuncion is a Chico State senior studying journalism with a minor in photographic studies. Originally from San Diego, this is her third semester on The Orion as the opinion and multimedia editor. Her favorite subjects to write about include society’s influence on internet culture, technology, fashion, beauty and wellness.

Outside of The Orion, her passion for music and the arts extends to her bass playing and hosting a radio show at KCSC. Additionally, she works as a freelance graphic designer, specializing in album covers, poster design, and spreads. Some of her work can be found in female-fronted digital zines including Penny Magazine, Unfiltered, and Lucky Archives.
