Chico State President Paul Zingg, along with 22 other California State University Presidents and seven CSU administrators, may receive an 8 percent pay increase following a Board of Trustees vote on Nov. 12 and 13.

Chico student drowns in swimming pool

Aaron Drange, a 20-year-old recording arts major, was pronounced dead from drowning at Enloe Medical Center after being found unresponsive in an apartment complex swimming pool Tuesday night.

A motorcyclist collided with a pedestrian bicyclist on the intersection of West Sacramento Avenue and Warner Street Saturday afternoon. The pedestrian, a Chico State student, is awake and in the hospital.
