Brain Food
This breakfast parfait will fuel your morning for finals. Photo credit: Christina Saschin

Studying for finals is becoming a top priority. Many people want a magical recipe that will get them through finals and help them ace their classes. While this does not exist, I can say that breakfast is quite important. Our brain runs solely on glucose that can be obtained by eating carbohydrates. This breakfast parfait includes granola, yogurt and berries. These ingredients provide your body with sustainable energy to help with finals. Good luck!

Total Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 1 yogurt parfait

Ingredients:
1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1 granola bar
1/4 cup blueberries and raspberries

Directions:

Start off by breaking up the granola bar into small bite-sized pieces. Next, wash the raspberries and blueberries. In a cup or small bowl, layer the ingredients of the parfait by adding granola, one to two spoonfuls of yogurt and then berries. Do this one more time to create two layers for the parfait.
