Five bands will be performing at 1078 Gallery tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Fistful of Pennies, Intelligent Elephant, Boom City, C.A.F. and Fight Music will bring varying styles of punk music ranging from acoustic/pop punk to folk punk.

“I’m definitely looking forward to mosh pits,” said Justin Green, singer and guitarist of Fistful of Pennies. “But who isn’t? I’m looking forward to playing with our new band member, Braden, who happens to be filling in for our bassist while he’s in Mexico.”

It will also be drummer Taymen Worthington’s first time coming to Chico, Green said.

We’ve been around for a little under a year under Intelligent Elephant. We were previously in a band called The King Is A Monster that was around for about two years,” said Garrett Fitzsimmions, guitarist and vocalist. “As for what we’re looking forward to seeing, I think just good vibes and good people along with a lot of moshing.”

The doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $7 and all ages are welcome.
