Local bands will be performing at a voter registration event to support Bernie Sanders and encourage eligible voters to register in time for the California primary election.

“Bands for Bernie” will feature performances from Get Foxy, Holly Taylor’s Jazz Combo, The Moes Family Band, Thick and Thin, Chris Schadt and Dorrie Keefe, Second Hand Smoke and many more.

The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming primary is May 23.

“Bands for Bernie” is free for all ages and will be held at the Chico Women’s Club on Sunday at 2 p.m.
