Map of Oroville Spillway evacuation centers and road closures

Immediate emergency evacuations were ordered on Feb. 12 because of the possible failure of the Oroville Emergency Spillway due to erosion. According to the California Department of Water Resources, residents of the low levels of Oroville and areas downstream were affected.

More than 188,000 people have been evacuated as of Feb. 14.
Evacuation orders will remain in place until crews can fix the spillways.

All evacuation centers are asking for donations of clothing such as socks and water.
