Pi Sigma Alpha and the Council of Graduate Students hosted a panel discussing the first 100 days of Donald Trump’s presidency.

The panel named “Are We Great Yet?” hosted five Chico State Professors from diverse fields.

· Diana Dwyre: Congressional Politics

· Darin Haerle: Criminal Justice

· Adam Irish: International Relations

· Jacob Jennings: Economics

· Andrew Potter: Health Care

The panelists, moderated by Sue Hildebrand, discussed many of the Trump administration’s campaign promises, in anticipation of the 100-day benchmark.

“These promises have been broken,” Hilderbrand said.

“He hasn’t been able to work very effectively with congress,” Dwyre said.

The panelists also discussed what the future of the Trump Presidency might hold.

“One of the concerns I have is that the government runs out of money on Friday,” Dwyre said.

The panel ended on a somber tone of uncertainty about the future.

“Elections have consequences,” Jennings.
