While Chico State is on the search for a new president, the University Employees Union wants to hear opinions of the student body and faculty.
An online survey has been made accessible, in which the university community will answer questions regarding the selection process.
In the past, candidate names and dates of their visits were made public. However, a 2011 Trustees Policy amended by the CSU Board of Trustees allows the president selection committee to decide whether that information would be made public.
To this day, there have been no public announcements of finalists or visits to campus. Surveys have already been completed by more than 1200 students and faculty. But the University Employees Union is hoping that the student participation rate will be increased.
Students can take the survey here.
