A New Earth Market natural food store officially opened recently at 864 East Ave.
This kind of opening for business is known as “soft open.”
The store has nearly 70 employees, mainly engaged in natural and organic food including groceries, cooked food, coffee and a variety of alcoholic drinks.
New Earth Market has very strict requirements for the identification of natural and organic food. The sale of all foods listed in “100 banned ingredients” is forbidden to ensure food sold from the shop is healthy and pollution-free.
“Our shop is not opened for a particular group, but with the purpose to bring a healthy diet to all people,” said Kevin Cotter, New Earth Market store manager.
New Earth Market is open now, but the grand opening ceremony will be held in May.
