Cal Fire lifts Saddle Fire evacuations
All evacuations have been lifted for the Saddle fire, according to the Cal Fire website. The fire started on September 5, around 4:48 p.m. and is currently 60 percent contained. It has burned over 850 acres.
A total of five fires started off of Pentz Road southeast of Paradise. Residents in this area were warned to be ready to evacuate.
Three structures have been destroyed but all evacuations that were issued have been lifted. Cal Fire urges residents to be careful when traveling to fire areas.
The start of the fire is still under investigation.
