A violence prevention class will be offered at Chico State this spring.
Chico State has developed a new course which is designed to provide students with the tools and knowledge to be able to recognize and prevent sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking on campus.
The course is also aimed to inform students about various prevention efforts and methods being used today against interpersonal violence. Students will also get the chance to come up with various methods to help prevent such acts on campus.
The three-unit course, Sociology 498, is available spring 2017 to all majors and minors and will be held on Monday nights from 6 – 8:50 p.m. Registration is now open.
