The Wildcat women’s golf momentum continues as they start
off the 2013-2014 spring.

The team ended the St. Mary’s

collective 20-over par 308 Tuesday, which allowed them to work their way up to
a third place finish in the 36-hole play carding 53-over par 629.

Both Dani O’Keefe and Sarah McComish led the ‘Cats by making the top 10 of a 93- person playing field. O’Keefe carded 1-over par 73 Tuesday, for an overall finish of 8-over 152 overall, allowing her to claim fifth place.

Sarah McComish made a huge comeback from Monday, when she ended the day tied for 30th place. She met O’Keefe by carding 1-over par 73 Tuesday, for a record total in a 36-hole play at San Antonio’s Dominion Gold Club of 10-over par 154 leading her to an overall eighth place finish.

Heather Fegley finished in 22nd place, carding a 10-over par 82 during Tuesday’s play. Wildcats Abbey McGrew and Spencer Downey both finished Tuesday by having improved from their Monday scores to help achieve their overall third place finish.
