    UFO sighting reported on East First Avenue

    Chico Police:

    10:01 a.m.: Subject on the influence of drugs at Pacificom on Talbert Drive. “White female adult walking in circles in parking lot, lost and disoriented. Walked up to reporting party when she opened the door and asked reporting where she was supposed to go. Butte College staff advising suspect now in their parking lot. Officer at scene, unable to locate subject.”

    5:58 p.m.: Loose animals at Woodland Park on Wildwood Avenue. “Two horses loose across from the park in the field, they do not have halters. She will check horse arena area. Fire personnel have the horses, en route to fire station. Placed in to corral on Manzanita, fire will contact the owners.”

    10:06 p.m.: Suspicious circumstances reported at East First Avenue. “Reporting party has seen 9 objects that were bright and red flying over Chico towards the airport. Object went across the sky and then upwards, when the lights went out. Reporting party says objects were traveling at least 4 times the speed of sound. Reporting party referred to National UFO Center. Possibly returned to mother ship.”

    University Police:

    1:03 p.m.: Suspicious vehicle at 1st/Ivy St. “Driver on cell phone. Erratic driving, almost hit citizen on sidewalk. Officers unable to locate vehicle.”

    4:34 p.m.: Suspicious subject at parking structure entrance. “White male adult on BMX style bike doing tricks. Reporting party met with officer and stated subject fled on bike upon his arrival, may still be in structure. Officer unable to locate.”
