A memorial for students Brittni and Brynn Frace who died after a traffic accident last week will be held Friday.

The sisters tragically died due to a collision with a semi-truck while returning to campus from their family home in Atascadero.

Brittni, 20, was majoring in exercise physiology and a member of the cross country and track and field teams. Her sister Bryna “Brynn” Frace, 22, transferred to Chico State last fall to be closer to her sister, as a civil-engineering senior from Humboldt State.

Those close to the two say they were inseparable and well loved by all those who knew them.

The service for the memorial will be held at Atascadero Bible Church in Atascadero. The university flag has been lowered in their honor.

Any students who need support during this difficult time are suggested to access free walk-in services at the Counseling and Wellness Center in SSC 430.
