One of the hardest things about giving up dairy was ditching the cheesy goodness of pizza. However, thanks to all the vegan accommodating alternative foods, pizza is still very available.

Here’s what I used:

Ingredients

  • Organic Pizza Crust (Trader Joe’s)
  • 1 cup Marinara Pasta Sauce
  • 1 ½ cups Daiya Mozzarella Style Shreds (Cheeze)
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1 cup Mushrooms
  • 2 Mini Bell Peppers
  • ¼ Red Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 clove Garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450ºF and thaw your pizza crust for at least 15 minutes
  2. Lightly oil pizza crust and place on cooking pan
  3. Sauce crust thoroughly leaving about an inch crust
  4. Place spinach throughout pizza (has to be on the bottom of pizza or else it’ll burn!)
  5. Sprinkle the desired amount of cheeze
  6. Add mushrooms
  7. Add tomatoes
  8. Add onions
  9. Add bell peppers
  10. Disperse chopped garlic throughout pizza (not too much in one spot..)
  11. Place pizza on the middle rack of the oven
  12. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until cheeze looks melted
  13. Let cool for 3 minutes
  14. Eat it all and enjoy
