    Accident on Cussick Avenue, both drivers pregnant

    Chico Police:

    7:58 a.m.: Accident on Cussick Avenue. No Ambulance needed. “Both drivers are pregnant. Cussick roadway is blocked. Minor property damage, one patient transported. Medics advising patient will not be transported, standing by for officers.”

    11:42 a.m.: Bomb callout on Clear Lake Road. “Officer off duty, had a female ask about old WWII hand grenades. She has several at her house that she does not know what to do with. Called reporting party, just one in the house. Explosive ordinance disposal unit will be en route. Item taken by EOD.”

    10:27 p.m.: Subject disturbance on Pomona Avenue. “Female yelling about burning down a house. Reporting party passed by on a bike and female asked him for a lighter. Wanted to keep it to burn down a house. Reporting party saw a lot of smoke and then heard loud “kaboom.” Thinks the house is on fire and will respond with a fire extinguisher. Was advised to stay in safe place but would not heed warning.”

    University Police:

    4:30 p.m.: Grand theft at Performing Arts Center. “Student left the Scene/Prop area of the Performing Arts Center unsecured, and unknown subject took his 14 inch MacBook Pro from his backpack within the last hour.”
