    Chico Police:

    Thursday, 1:02 p.m.: Suspicious subject on North Cedar Street. “Subject approached reporting party’s 17 year old daughter near the mailboxes and asked if she smoked. Asked if she wanted hash and oils, or if she wanted to smoke a bowl. Juvenile walked away, was very afraid of subject.”

    Thursday, 2:45 p.m.: Suspicious subject at Regency Inn on Esplanade. “Female subject with knife strapped to her leg was running around holding a laptop and carrying a bag. Subject yelling for no specific reason. Officer en route.”

    Friday, 7:47 a.m.: Subject disturbance at Parkview Elementary School on East Eighth Street. “Parent in front of school screaming at principal over crossing guard’s termination. Suspect has been asked to leave, has moved to sidewalk but refuses to leave. Continuing to yell at reporting party. Subject is upset about a crossing guard being fired. She was advised to stop involving herself in other people’s business. Female left school, no further action.”

    Friday, 8:35 p.m.: Suspicious subjects on Normal Avenue. “Group of 3 to 4 black male adults started making cat calls to reporting party and friends, followed them to their house. One in particular followed them up the stairs and they had to close the door on him, he was getting verbally. Reporting party does not see them outside, requesting an area check.”

    University Police:

    Thursday, 7:46 a.m.: Elevator malfunction on the third floor of O’Connell building. “Elevator door keeps opening and closing but not going anywhere. Electrician will be notified to evaluate.”

    Thursday, 2:32 p.m.: Suspicious subjects in southeast stairwell of parking structure 3. “Three male subjects hanging out in stairwell making comments as ladies walk by. Officer out with three subjects, officer has one subject detained. Transported to Chico Police Department.”

    Friday, 8:48 p.m.: Suspicious subject in front of Nobby’s on Park Avenue. “Officer out with subject in front of Nobby’s, requesting medics for female who appears to be having medical issues. Fire department and medics on scene. Female transported to Enloe.”

    Friday, 9:13 p.m.: Grand theft in Lassen Hall. “Theft of Samsung laptop.”
