    Chico Police:

    Wednesday, 12:57 p.m.: Shoplift at Rite Aid on Mangrove Avenue. “One female in custody, cooperative. Subject with another female who is outside in vehicle. Vehicle is parked in front of the store. They don’t believe she is involved but knows her friend is in custody.”

    Wednesday, 1:57 p.m.: Subject refusing to leave at Circle K 76 on Park Avenue. “Black male adult in parking lot with his pants down, reporting party concerned because there is an elementary school across the street. Officer out with subject, moved along.”

    Wednesday, 5:56 p.m.: Knife incident at 1325 Nord Avenue. “Female subject is brandishing a knife at passing students, in middle of the street between University Village and Walgreens. Subject last seen on side of road with two other subjects near Walgreens.”

    Thursday, 7:24 a.m.: Vehicle stolen from Murriland Computers on Rio Lindo Avenue. “Vehicle was taken sometime during the night.”

    Thursday, 11:32 a.m.: Shoplift from KMart on Pillsbury Road. “Subject fleeing southbound on Cohasset, currently in front of Heritage Inn in the area of bushes. Subject stole perfume, watches, pants, backpack, t-shirts, baseball gloves, and work boots.”

    Thursday, 2:27 p.m.: Accident, minor injuries on Cohasset Road. “Vehicle versus bicyclist. Female bicyclist is down and not getting up. She identified herself verbally, a warrant was confirmed. Subject cited and released so she could seek medical attention.”


    University Police:

    Wednesday, 12:30 p.m.: Skateboarder on Ivy Street. “Officer on bike, attempted to contact subject for riding skateboard on campus, subject tucked skateboard under his arm and fled across Ivy. Located in front of O’Connell and arrested. Cited and released from University Police Department.”

    Wednesday, 11:50 p.m.: Welfare check between Performing Arts Center and Bell Memorial Hall. “Reporting party reporting a white male adult with two duffel bags is standing in the open and ‘staring off.’ Reporting party asked him if he was alright and he didn’t respond. Subject was moved along.”

    Thursday, 11:08 a.m.: Narcotics violation in Lassen Hall. “Room had smell of marijuana, occupant refused to allow search. Strong odor of marijuana, occupant had covered the smoke detector with a plastic bag. University Housing and Food Services to handle further.”

    Thursday, 2:01 p.m.: Petty theft of convenience store. “Black male adult put burritos and sandwiches in pockets. Reporting party confronted him and he gave some back, unknown if all. Subject did the same thing Saturday. Unable to locate subject.”
