Fifteen three-pointers from the Wildcat roster gave Chico State a dominating 79-68 win in its game against Northwest Nazarene Nov. 26.

Junior guard Corey Silverstrom led his team for the second straight game. In the game against Academy of Art Nov. 25, Silverstrom sank five shots from beyond the arc and finished with 24 points.

Against Northwest Nazarene, Silverstrom hit another five three-point shots and scored a total of 23 points in the game.

Along with Silverstrom, three other Wildcats provided the team with 10 or more points, with each sinking shots from the three-point line.

Junior guard Jalen McFerren sank four shots from outside to finish with 16 points in the game. Junior forward Isaiah Ellis relied more on his game in the post and sank just one three-point shot but finished the night with 15 points.

Sophomore guard Nate Ambrosini had a massive scoring performance after coming off the bench in the first half, making four shots from behind the arc. Ambrosini scored 14 points in the game and made major contributions in the rebounding battle by snagging three boards.

While scoring from outside led the team to the easy win, the 19 rebound advantage the Wildcats had was an important factor. Senior guard Rob Duncan led the team on the glass with nine rebounds in the game.
