A two car accident causes a lane closure on West Sacramento Avenue on Friday afternoon.
According to Chico Police Department Officer Wayne Rockwell, a car was believed to be headed southbound on Warner Street, making a right hand turn on West Sacramento Avenue when the vehicle collided with another car also turning onto West Sacramento Avenue.
The car was pushed up onto the sidewalk and front lawn of the corner house while the car was in the middle of the lane.
There was one injury reported, the passenger in the car was complaining of a neck injury and was taken away in an ambulance.
One lane was blocked off on West Sacramento Avenue.
The names of those involved were not released or available for statement.
